We are excited to introduce Field Roast's version of a great summertime treat, the Frankfurter -- an all-American classic that will look and taste right at home at the ballpark and backyard barbecues this summer. As with all of Field Roasts artisan foods, the Frankfurter is made in small batches with fresh, natural ingredients like garlic and onion. Its traditional seasonings lend a bold flavor, and like Field Roast's sausages, it begs to be grilled!

Field Roast products are shipped frozen. Expiration date is 45 days after being thawed if kept refrigerated.
Ingredients: Filtered water, vital wheat gluten, expeller pressed safflower oil, naturally flavored yeast extract, organic expeller pressed palm fruit oil, barley malt, natural liquid smoke, garlic, onion granules, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, spices, paprika, sea salt.

These are great enough to eat plain but when they have toppings and are served on a bun, holy hot dog!

...when you've got these? Very flavorful, just like the "real" thing. I like my dogs well browned, and these can handle that skillet test. And to avoid excessive dryness from my near-overcooking, I finish them with a few good splashes of beer, and cover tightly for a few extra minutes. Then it's surrounded with g.poupon, fried onions, relish, hots, & a warm hot dog bun. Highly recommended!
