Sam's Yams Clean & Green sweet potato dog treats are made with applesauce and sweet potato along with a healthy blend of greens. Each cookie is prepared with herbs such as parsley, alfalfa, and mint, all sources of chlorophyll to help freshen breath, as well as pumpkin seed and papaya for the wellness and enjoyment of your dog. All of their sweet potato dog treats and chews are made from USA-grown orange fleshed, sweet potato (though sometimes you may find them labeled as "yams" at the grocery store). The manufacturer does not use any imported products from China. Sam's Yams veggie treats contain almost 70 TIMES the amount of beta carotene as a lower quality Chinese-made sweet potato dog treat. They are processed at low temperatures to maintain and lock in important vitamins and minerals. This is possible because they use USDA inspected and American-grown sweet potatoes. These chews and treats are highly nutritious and excellent for your dog's teeth and health. Sweet potatoes are very high in anti-oxidants and are easily digestible for your dog's stomach. These Dog Chewz contain nothing artificial, no sweeteners, colors, or processed food items.
