Disappointed
April 7, 2013 | Ken

I wasn't impressed when I opened the can...colorless and small. But I proceeded to attempt to brown them in my non-stick frying pan. This product repeatedly stuck to the pan, even when I added more olive oil. I got tired of continually scraping, so I just stopped that process and microwaved them for about 45 seconds so that they would be hot. I just barely was able to finish eating a whole piece. These tasted (and looked) exactly like Vienna Sausage from those tiny cans. Absolutely NO flavor whatsoever with an overly soft, mushy texture. I had stopped eating low-grade Vienna Sausage meat years ago. My impression was that a similar manufacturing process was used sans meat for these little, little links. My dog loved them. He got the rest of the can, but that's expensive dog food. Loma Linda is a Kellogg's subsidary, so that explains the extreme commercial quality of this product to me. I won't be too hard on their products even though I don't like this one. I haven't tried any others. I'll give Kellogg's Loma Linda kudos for just being a player in the vegan marketplace. We need more players in that arena.
