Theyve teamed up with Daiya the makers of a new dairy-free cheese, the first 100% vegan cheese to hit the market with an authentic melt, texture and flavor. This delicious cheese alternative sits on top of a zesty garlic tomato pizza sauce and a thin whole wheat crust.
Italian Sausage & Fire-Roated Veggies: Can one pizza really bring agreement to the meat versus veggie argument? Tofurky says Yes!. First they smothered their thin, whole wheat crust with a layer of zesty garlic pizza sauce and shredded Daiya dairy-free cheese. Next they piled on chunks of hearty Italian Sausage with Sun Dried Tomatoes and Basil to give this pizza a satisfying meaty chew. Finally they added their own blend of fire roasted veggies for a flavorful punch!
Pepperoni: Until now there has never been a vegetarian pepperoni pizza available in your local grocery freezer case. Under extreme pressure, Team Tofurky might whimper but will reveal nothing about how they achieved the delicious pepperoni taste. Take a bite of history and enjoy the first vegan pepperoni pizza to hit the freezer case!
Each pizza is 12-14 oz. (depending on flavor).
Directions: Keep frozen until ready to bake. Bake in preheated oven at 420 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes or until slightly browned. Oven times vary. Bake on cookie sheet for soft crust, directly on rack for crisper crust. Pizza is done when cheese is melted and crust is lightly browned.
